Doukas School participates in the 24-month Erasmus+ project ‘ONLIFE: Empower hybrid Competences for Onlife Adaptable Teaching in School Education in times of pandemic’.
ONLIFE project aims to develop a methodology which will support the life adaptability of teachers in the online teaching process in School Education, so they can have hybrid competences as teachers. ONLIFE aims at supporting the European Union priority Partnership for Digital Educational Reading to answer to the current COVID-19 crisis with the right skills and competences for school educational leaders, namely Teachers and school leaders. The goal of this project is to reinforce the schools to provide high quality and inclusive digital education to their students through the development of:
ONLIFE wants to answer question that derived from the COVID-19 pandemic such as ‘Where we ready to move educational activities ONLY on-line?’, ‘Were the students ready to self-organise their learning process standing at home?’, ‘How was the educational readiness of the educational institutions?’ thanks to an innovative learning material programme for teachers and educational leaders aimed at guiding them towards the future with the rights competences and skills to face unpredictable future.
ONLIFE project will indeed contribute to the Specific Priority of strengthening the teaching profession as this new reality found most teachers, unprepared to adapt their teaching, leaving, producing, creating, learning, and living habits and be as productive and effective while staying at home. In order to help address this, the ONLIFE project aims to develop a ONLIFE project methodology which will support the life adaptability of teachers in the online teaching process in School Education so they can have hybrid competences as teachers.
