The FACILITATE-AI Multiplier Event took place at Doukas School on 30/01/24, with the main goal to equip educators with effective tools for teaching Artificial Intelligence in the classroom.

Commencing with a concise overview of the Facilitate-AI project, its objectives, and its current progress, the event proceeded to introduce the primary project output, the “AI Teaching guide for teachers facilitating the learning of students in grades 7-12” and the findings from the Focus Group conducted in each partner country, emphasizing the necessity for a comprehensive curriculum in AI education.

Subsequently, the presentation further covered the training course by an exploration of the website and Dynamic Online Learning Environment housing Open Educational Resources (OER) on AI interdisciplinary STEAME School subjects. This platform enables users to access the training course and other valuable materials for classroom activities. Participants were actively engaged in AI-related activities and offered recommendations for their implementation in the classroom.

The event concluded with a discussion on the project’s policy recommendations, providing attendees with the opportunity to pose questions and engage in further dialogue.
